The human body was designed to move. It has not changed from our earliest ancestors, however our lifestyles have drastically changed.
As we continually progress as a society towards a more sedentary lifestyle, our bodies suffer from the lack of movement required to stay balanced and healthy. With the increased lack of movement comes the unfortunate byproduct of musculoskeletal dysfunctions and compensations.
As these develop, the body’s only way to alert of misalignment, is to present with a warning signal, PAIN. In addition to pain, the lack of function sets up an environment more vulnerable to injury and long term implications.
